Regenerative reputation
Regenerative reputation is reputation built on the best a company leaves in a territory, not only on what it communicates. It is the concept that guides ISBR work.
The idea
Traditional reputation protects a company image against risks. Regenerative reputation works in the opposite direction: each decision should leave the relationship with the territory stronger than before, with more trust, more local capacity and shared benefit.
How it shows
- Trust from those who live in the surroundings.
- Capacity left in the region: people, suppliers and institutions.
- Commitments kept, not just announced.
- Conflicts solved before they become news.
Difference from ESG and from communications
ESG reports describe practices, and communications tell stories. Regenerative reputation depends on facts that communities would recognize as true.
The view from next door. For people living nearby, reputation is the memory of what a company did when no one was watching. The regenerative company leaves the territory better than it found it, and that is its best asset.
