Investor aftercare
Aftercare is the follow-up that a government, agency or consultancy gives a company after it sets up: solving obstacles, supporting expansion and keeping dialogue with the territory. It turns an attracted investment into an investment that stays and grows.
What it includes
- A single point of contact in the public administration.
- Support with licenses, hiring and infrastructure works left pending.
- Follow-up on requests and on promised incentives.
- Bridges to suppliers, technical schools and city halls.
- Regular listening to the surroundings.
Why it matters
A well-served company attracts the next one, and a company that feels abandoned tells other investors. Post-installation is one of the cheapest parts of the investment attraction process and one of those that build the most trust.
The view from next door. For the surroundings, aftercare is the difference between a factory that arrived and a factory that stayed: the one that stayed buys, hires, trains people and talks.
